in loving memory ... we continue the fight

a loving mother, successful model, and actress

On February 14, 2004, Oliver Rich, the founder of Tea Guys, lost his mother to breast cancer at age 66. Jeanne Swanson put a valiant five year fight against this dreadful disease.

According to the American Cancer Society, over 200,000 American women and 1,500 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and over 40,000 women and 400 men will die from this disease. With statistics like these, many people have family, friends and neighbors who have been touched by breast cancer.

This is why Tea Guys supports the efforts of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (www.komen.org) to fund breast cancer research and community outreach, as well as the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund (www.nptrust.org), to provide an endowment for breast cancer initiatives.

In August 2006, Tea Guys staff participated in the Breast Cancer 3-Day event in Boston. They walked 60 miles in three days and their team raised over $20,000 for breast cancer research and community outreach.

In August 2008, Tea Guys donated tea to the event to support the efforts of the walkers. We are proud to be a part of this event and to support this cause. We will continue to do so through the sales of our Pink Tea Products line.
